books are solid

the dead are
indecipherable bones
that only have life
when they are remembered

gestures and memory
are things of noisy people
while silence
is inherent to the dead

the secret of death
stays in the silence
of the libraries
or in the silence
of the cemeteries?

who will answer us:
the gravedigger of books
or the bookseller
of the dead?
